ShareWay IP Professional Edition

ShareWay IP Professional Edition is the high end of our popular ShareWay IP product line. ShareWay IP adds the following features beyond those provided by ShareWay IP Standard Edition:

• Support for multiple AFP servers from a single Macintosh*
  
• Real-time access statistics, graphing and centralized logging
  
• Sortable list of active connections, including user's IP address and idle time
  
• Service Location Protocol (SLP) proxying for any IP-based AFP server, making those servers available through dynamic browsing**
  
• Ability to export configuration and access information to text files
  
• Ability to disconnect a particular user
  

*Support for multiple servers is available either through multiple distinct TCP/IP port numbers, or through multiple distinct IP addresses ("multihoming"). Multihoming requires Open Transport 1.3 and Mac OS 8.1 or later.

**Requires Mac OS 8.5 or later. Mac OS 8.6 or later recommended.

• The ability to dynamically locate and access targeted servers through Service Location Protocol (SLP)
• WebSTAR-compatible log files which can be analyzed in real time through LogDoor
• 50 user license to AFP Engage! included for simplified server access
• SLP proxying for any IP-based AFP server, making those servers available through dynamic browsing
  
• Full support for new Mac OS technologies, including Network Browser, Navigation Services and Apple Help
  

ShareWay IP Pro 2.0.1 is a free upgrade for all ShareWay IP Pro 2.0 owners, and is required for Mac OS 9 support.

ShareWay IP Pro is available as a standalone product or as part of our AppleTalk to IP Migration Suite, an integrated set of components that provides key tools, documents and examples to aid you in moving your network from AppleTalk to IP protocols.
