Open Door Networks
The Macintosh AFN Specialists
Dialing into the Internet via Open Door Networks
Sometimes, you may need to dial into the Internet using a phone
line and the analog modem that is built into your Macintosh. For
example, if you have a laptop and you are traveling, you may decide
to use the phone line in your hotel room to dial into the Internet.
Using dial-in access has three steps
- Establish a dial-in account
- Set up your machine
- Dial in
Steps 1 and 2 only need to be done once. If you have trouble with
any of the steps, please call us at 488-4349 for assistance.
Establishing a dial-in account
If you requested dial-in access when you signed up for an Open
Door account, it was set up at the time we did your installation.
Otherwise, call us at 488-4349 and request a dial-in account.
Setting up your machine for dial-in
